Pictures of The Golden hour of sunrise on Scottish beaches including North Berwick and Portobello often produce photographs that just glow, I feel blessed to have welcomed the dawn on many occasions in summer as early as 4.30am and winter as late as 8.45am, sometimes in the company of cold water swimmers, other times in solitude.
